Image from the collection “Photographic Album of the Port of Barcelona. State of Construction in 1896.” This was a commission from the Barcelona Harbour Works Board, with a high-end binding. The author, Pau Audouard (1856-1918), was the official photographer of the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exposition together with Antoni Esplugas. In the foreground, rooves and nets stretched out on the dock can be seen. We can also see the Moll de Capitania or Isleta, as well as steamships and llaguts under sail. In the background is the mountain of Montjuïc.
